Should I Stay Or Should I Go

Well it has been a very weird start to the new decade, and that’s saying it lightly.

From the constant uncertainty to the stress of staying indoors for an extended period of time, to not knowing whether you have a job when you go back to work, to canceling your summer plans. Incredibly stressful and tiresome to say the least! So, the question comes do I go on a vacation? Or do I stay home? This summer.

This week we will explore this question and you can decide for yourself.

Pros of going on a vacation:
You get to get away from whatever place you are reading this and see a new place in the world, this has huge positive influences on your psyche and can help you come back renewed, and refreshed with a better appreciation of what you have wherever you are.

Just the thought of going away can, again, have an incredibly positive effect on you as you can just get away and not worry about the problems back home. This drastically helps you as a person and can, even for a moment in time, give you a boost that you just may need. This is not saying that your problems are going to go away on their own. But even for a small moment in time has a huge positive effect on you.

Cons of going on a vacation:
You might not have the funds. Most people out there have been unemployed or off work for a couple of months and playing catch up on there bills. Or just trying to find a job for that matter. If you are in this, then you really need to look to your responsibilities and leave the vacations alone until you are better financially able to do so. Just bear down and get it done. The place you have decided to go to might not be the safest, or out of the woods just yet.

There really isn’t much you can do about that. Maybe find another local and go there and put that place on the back burner for now. I know about this firsthand as my trip to Colombia, Bolivia, and Peru was canceled in late March, so I know have to book for 2021.

I hope that helps, again I only gave two of each as there might be hundreds of reasons to go or not to go only you can decide for yourself. Just make sure you make a smart decision as your decision will affect more people other than yourself. Let me know what you decide? I’m curious to know.
