Travel Workout Tips
Well with the happenings of the entire CoVid “pandemic” earlier in the year most of us had our vacation plans canceled, however, no that things have somewhat simmered down and we have moved back into the world we can now look at going on a vacation and temporarily leave our “problems” behind.
So, what does this mean to you? How, if you have subscribed to our Virtual Kettlebell Classes) stay fit and healthy? Well this blog post is here (and Vio Fitness) to help you through this problem. And here are our 3 tips on staying on track with your workouts while you are away.
Tip #1: Stay Active:
Do things, fun things that you normally wouldn’t do. If you are in a resort, walk the resort, go for a swim, take SCUBA, learn how to Kite surf (a lot of fun by the way), try wake boarding or paddle boarding, something, anything. And do it on a daily basis, don’t just perch yourself by the pool. If you are not in a resort go for a hike, explore the town/village/city that you are staying in. If the resort/hotel has a gym hit the gym.
Tip #2: Go on an excursion:
I love this one. I always do this every time I go away. Find some ancient site and explore it. Hire a guide so you can the historical background behind the site you are visiting. This allows you to not only learn the local ancient culture, but you get to go on a long walk, or climb a pyramid, or go swimming, or zip lining, or bike riding, or whatever activity is scheduled with that tour.
Tip #3: Stay connected with us:
Honestly guys this is a no brainer. Vio Fitness is a completely virtual platform and you can find us everywhere and anywhere in the world so long as you have an internet connection, you will always have your workouts on hand. So, you have no excuse, unless you get lazy then I can’t really do anything for you there.
